TAILG-Electric-Scooters-1-Lakh-Warranty-Nepal-1
Yoma Ma E Motors has made a groundbreaking announcement by introducing a 1 lakh kilometer warranty on electric scooters, marking Nepal's first-of-its-kind initiative. Under this, the company pledges to offer customers a warranty covering a distance of up to 1 lakh kilometers on TAILG electric scooters.Speaking at the event, the company's director Sanjeeb Shilpakar said, "We are beginning to provide a 1 lakh kilometer warranty on electric scooters for the first time in Nepal. We have tested the lithium-ion phosphate battery used in our scooters for a long time, and we are confident to provide a 1 lakh kilometer warranty, ensuring that our customers can buy and use the scooter without worry."According to the company, the warranty will be applicable for 5 years or 1 lakh kilometers, whichever comes first. This warranty dispels the misconception that replacing batteries incurs high costs, instilling confidence in the company.Normally, a scooter's lifespan is said to be 1 lakh kilometers. "By offering scooters at affordable prices, we have kept our customers satisfied with our service. Additionally, we have decided to provide a warranty based on reaching either 1 lakh kilometers or 5 years for the first time, which will greatly benefit the customers," added Shilpakar. The company has introduced various features in the updated TAILG Lion electric scooter, including a front visor, hill-hold assist, wider tires, smooth acceleration, brighter (matrix) headlamp, new telescopic suspension, and new remote key features. The TAILG Lion features a 4 kW motor and a 3.33 kW lithium iron phosphate battery pack to provide a range of 160 kilometers, as stated by the company. This scooter can be fully charged at home in just 3 hours. The company has set the price of this scooter at NPR 3,33,000.The updated TAILG Lion electric scooter also features Bluetooth connectivity, stereo speakers, as well as keyless start, disc brake, tubeless tires, anti-theft alarm, 5-step adjustable suspension, fast charging port, and large under-seat space. Moreover, customers buying the TAILG Lion in the company's New Year scheme will receive a cash discount of Rs 15,000, along with one year of full insurance and free road tax. Additionally, every TAILG electric scooter customer will receive lifetime free service as per the company's announcement. The company has also arranged for free roadside service within Kathmandu Valley. In collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), TAILG actively participates in worldwide electric mobility projects. Moreover, TAILG is the exclusive supplier of electric two-wheelers to the United Nations, bolstering its international footprint.
